My Story

Welcome to my little corner of the internet, Fashionably Izzy...

I first launched my blog in 2017 and it was originally called The Chic Babe Blog. I had no idea what I was doing but I knew that I had a love for putting outfits together and making people smile through humor and creativity!

I went to school for Social Work and Psychology and although I enjoyed the work I did back then, I also felt like I couldn’t be as creative as I wanted to be.

The Chic Babe Blog quickly became the creative outlet I needed when I came home drained from a long day at work. 



During the hobby stage of my blog, I started to notice that other bloggers and content creators around me were turning their hobbies into full time ventures. Yet, when I seeked education and tips on this, I came up short. I remember being incredibly frustrated and feeling like it wasn’t going to happen for me.



I had a dab of marketing experience under my belt from some freelancing I had done in college and so I sat down and started to make a game plan.

I rebranded The Chic Babe Blog into Fashionably Izzy, I acquired a business email address, I started batching content and started to pitch myself to over 50 brands a DAY!



At first I received a lot of no’s but I  knew that NO just meant Next Opportunity so I kept going. Fast forward to today... I have had over 300 paid collaborations, I’m on retainer with several companies, I surpassed my previous income and I get to do what I love and call it my job! The best part is that YOU can too!
